Hey, Stacy. I just came across this old review of yours. The “Evil New Pen” you referenced is the Pilot Precise V5 “Begreen” version made from recycled plastic. The classic V5 you came to love is still very much in the retail market. I just saw a package of them today at my local Staples store. And about the V5/V7 thing … the V5 has a 0.5 mm needle point while the V7 has a larger and less precise 0.7 mm point.
For some reason your comment came up on the picture and not the review, and I honestly can’t remember what the question about V7 vs. V5 is, but I know the V5 is still on the market now, thank goodness—I’ve been editing with them again for about a year and a half.
